Loony Teens

What does the cartoon have to say about teenagers and their lives?

1. How does the teenager feel about exam tension?

As evident in the example, the teenager does not seem to handle exam tension very well. Although he had revised and studied hard for the exam, he still faced some troubles in answering them probably due to the exam tension that made him experienced "mind-block".

2. In what way is there a communication gap between the teenager and his parents?

Clearly there is a big communication gap between the teenager and his parents probably due to their differences in certain matters like opinions and values which by itself is not necessarily a problem. Besides that, technology widens the divide between the teenager and his parent too as the teenager becomes to evolve around it.However, parents needs to find a better approach to communicate with their teenagers as they tend to be rebellious and overly sensitive in that stage of life.

3. What point is the teenager trying to get across to his father in this cartoon?

The teenager is trying to say that the internet connection is really bad and that immediate action to get it fixed should be taken. He's also trying to show his frustration towards the poor connection to his father so that his father can understand how urgent the matter is to him.

4.In what way does the father understand his son well?

The father understands the sarcasm of his son and he thinks that at times it's better if his teenager just ignored him because it would be a win-win situation for both father and son because both won't be annoyed with each other.
